Where abouts in Brisbane are you? There may be other LFS close to you that you may not know about. A half hour drive is not too bad. Some forum members regularly drive over an hour to shop at some of the forum sponsors.

Re: brisbane n00b hmmm maybe it's just because i don't live anywhere near west brisbane, but i don't know of any good aquariums out there. on the north side of things there's aquarama in stafford and while their staff are knowledgable i find them very expensive. there's petbarn at kenmore but i'm not sure how knowledgable their staff are with fish. the staff at petbarn windsor are good with fish. there's pet stores in taringa but i have no idea about them. i wasn't very helpful sorry
