  1. Will pay good coin for some big Bozzies If you Have Some to off load or know someone who has please pm me .. cheers all
  2. Oh yeah don't talk about the green backs ... I just want to hear from people who have tried as from what information I can find on there natural breeding conditions .. They go into the flooded jungle to breed so replicating that to the best of your ability . Eg slowly drop water level over a period of time .. Then raise it fast with rain bars , as you said lots of logs and hidy holes and debris as they build nests ... Many of our favourite fish , expensive fish are common table fish , giant gourami , Id shark , knifefish , we certainly pay top dollar if not the most money for fish in Australia & sometimes gets very frustrating
  3. Anyone had any success with Clowns or royals ? Have a female & Got a male royal on the way ! Heard best to have 4 males to 1 female in a large Dam or Pool .. Intrested to know if anyone has had any success at all within an Aquarium ..
  4. I dont really know why this happens, i also get the odd shaped endlers but my guess is its because they are usually interbreeding in there own colony for many generations and they are such fast breeders for example if you have one male guppy and he mates with three females , they have fry grow up & also mate with the same female and it goes on and on, your bound to get some weird body parts , i guess its just a bit like being born in Tasmania lol,,, jokes
  5. Be sure to keep them fed as per usual , if they have no food they have no choice ,
  6. The guy i buy my shrimp from uses shrimp to hatch his angel fish eggs , they don't eat the eggs but like you said they keep them moving and keep them alive , just remove the eggs and put a few shrimp in with the eggs and off to work they go , who needs tumblers ha ? So i wouldn't be surprised if what you think you have seen is actually true , the wonderful world of underwater mysteries
  7. welcome to my reef :eyebrows:

  8. welcome to my reef

  9. thanks beencees , i am fairly new to qldaf but ,man i love reading your threads ,you are so helpful , for some reason i think that allot of people either keep this kind of information to them selves or simply cant be bothered typing it all out , so thank you I was just hoping that someone would be able to give a list of fish as far as they know that can tolerate these kind of conditions & water parameters , im guessing you cant just throw any fish eg ghost knife into a mineral rich , added co2 environment , please enlighten , thanks again
