  3. same i've wanted to give it a shot/help out but i'm too worried about messing up I do like when bansey and bill are auctioning, best.banter.ever.
  4. ""Also mentioning the size of the fish (even if the auctioneer isnt interested in the species) would have helped. For those who missed out on my juvi L numbers, they weren't tiddlers, they were 5cm and they breed at 8cm. The size was marked on the bag label but for the most part was ignored"" same here, i went and measured each fish down to the mm and put it on every single label thinking "i wish everyone else did this so that the auctioneer dosnt have to guess". haha i guess there are a few people that do it! and holy moley the noise from the crowd was terrible i'm not sure about everyone else but from up the front I was having issues hearing the auctioneers (sorry Ian), may have been all the kids near me though (someone has to take them into another room and put movies on all night, charge $5/kid) BUT the semi-reasonable price of the tea was a nice change AND a free bickie! needless to say I bought 6 cups of tea xD venue was fantastic! much much much better than the clayfield hall Oh and another grumpy thing, was people parking wherever they felt like, i was almost boxed in and only managed to get out after about 10min of back and forth and the help from a VERY nice stranger who was directing me from outside, good sir if your reading this I owe you!

  7. yeah agree with stace, its pretty nasty stuff, triple sulfur and salting up your water should help, pretty sure this disease isn't a fan of salt.
  8. yeah with those bacteria blooms the best thing to do is nothing (against your strongest judgement!) and it'll sort itself out in a few days.
  9. yeah I'd vote cooking slowly, but i'd also not rule out an infection of sorts, i'm certainly no shrimp expert so i'm not sure what it'd be infection wise but could be worth investigating? hope it all works out though! summer can be a tough time for the shrimpies
  10. I've always used API, and every store that i've worked in bar one has used API aswell, those hagen ones are a nightmare D:
  11. yeah i was pretty worried when I had a guy come in saying that he wanted to know how to tattoo his fish cause hes already bought all the ink + gun and whatnot. Tried talking him out of it but man you'd be surprised how much some people really really really want tattoo'd fish
  12. Great changes, I really like the required fields as I often just forgot to use the template but now it's really easy looking forward to more improvements!
