4. Root tabs and diy

Ita not DIY but i use dragon dung. Clay based aussie tabs which i got about 30 (big pellets that i had to cut in half) from Age of Aquariums for like $11. Cheap and good stuff. Just have to watch your ammonia levels if youre using a whole bunch Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
5. Shrimp tank update

Possibly... im waiting for it to properly grow in now so i can see if there are any balance issues. Also my rcs just had babies so waiting for them to size up and come out of hiding so i can possibly switch things up [emoji14] Thanks for the compliment though! Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
6. Shrimp tank update

Thankyou Some big changes to the layout and plants a while ago. Some awesome growth after adding pressurised co2 a bit over a week ago as well. Due for a trim and a clean today or tomorrow for sure! Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

9. Help with 138g stocking

Interesting. What are arrowanna like personality wise? Some of the middle sized cichlids and large cichlids im considering can have such interesting personalities and thats quite a drawing point for me Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
10. Shrimp tank update

So i finally pulled the trigger yesterday and bought a new 10gal to update my shrimp tank. Managed to bag some cheap seiryu stone as well so thought id get going on my first proper scape. My aim was to make a scape that didnt need all the bells an whistles and could be made with what was easily and (relatively) cheap and available. Running a basic aquamanta HOB with 2 clip in Animates LED and going to be dosing Excel every other day and trace elements and iron every water change. Currently has about 20 RCS and 2 endlers though going to change the endlers out for some smaller school. Not sure what yet. Its a basic black gravel (wanted to try something other than BDBS) with seiryu stone, some gold vine nano driftwood pieces, java moss, subwassertang, riccia and micranthenum minte carlo. Goong to be filling in the top of the cliff with a bushier plant, still unsure what that will be though. Would love to hear your thoughts! - Fuzzy Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

12. Help with 138g stocking

Haha aa massive planted guppy tank would be pretty crazy. The colours would be insane. Oh and as you mentioned, the sheer number of fry would be bonkers. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
13. Help with 138g stocking

Very much agreed TED but i just wanted to see what you lovely people would like to have if you had a spare 6 footer. Seeing what others like helps me with ideas and new options to research Also they were ideas IsaRich i havent kept all them yet! I do quite like the medium american cichlid tank idea. Those guys have such great personalities and beautiful colours. Also the high tech setup is something id definitely be interested in. Dont really have the funds for it though ... im a sucker for buying top-line stuff so id need some decent money to get it all up and running Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
14. Help with 138g stocking

Hey guys, I'm a serial mind-changer and I can't make up my mind for my 6ft 138g tank stocking. Dimensions are 183cm long x 48.5cm deep x 60.5cm tall. Filtration is either a FX6 or sump, still undecided. I've gone through several phases: a full community tank, a rainbow tank, a discus tank, a tanganyikan tank, and mbuna tank or a 'monster' tank. Yet I still can't make up my mind... SO I wanna hear your guys suggestions. If you had this tank what would you want to stock it with? I'd love to hear any and all suggestions! I look forward to hearing them all!!! - Fuzzy Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
