  5. Petworx 5000 l/h Pond pump on 750 l tank 100w and 100$ new Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  6. It's 3/4" Was to difficult to remove. When I changed to 1". The system is working really well now. One intake with the tee and dual strainers sucks just a bit more than the pump puts back in about 4500 l/h A slight adjustment on the gate valve and its perfect. The 2nd intake works as a trickle if necessary. Or cleans the surface water. Based on the Herbie design. I am really happy with it. Thanks anyway Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  7. The 'blog' bit was a joke I attempted to delete that word only resulting in refreshing it. As I realize no blogs on the forum. I have never utilized a blog anywhere before BTW Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah okay, I've been a dill. Putting myself through the drill In not enough then too much But now I have the thrill Of stable silent sump Thanks with all the attempts and offers of help. Apologies for any lack of engagement with replies. I am becoming more confident in using this app / technology. I became stressed feeling skewered A Souvlaki ;-) Yo bloody jokers :-) Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah wow that's how I had it from the start. But wasn't getting full water flow back to the sump with air in the pipes. Always had to turn the pump off before flooding over the DT. I had to move the sump so that the two outlet pipes siphon much more vertical and quickly. Taking out some horizontal pipe. I didn't think it would make such a difference. So yeah I went more complex instead. The simplicity you share and what I started with Is all that's necessary then. Bumma I've had a stressful couple of weeks lol. The result now tho, is I have a silent system with a much larger distance between high and low water. Less vortex slurping noise. The dual strainer sucks so well, it leaves the 2nd outlet totally free or as a trickle / emergency drain. And it cleans the surface water very efficiently . I am amazed that the water quality has had no spikes or any sign of chemical increase with the sump off 2/3 of the day and all night. DT been Running on a power hd and small biological. Thanks Wish I had o checked in & asked on site earlier. It all seemed simple and logical. Stress got the better of me Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
