  1. Check for eggs in the pipe before moving them. Does sound like parental behaviour. I had a pair of juvie GTs that spawned at the same size
  2. Surprisingly not so bad. The noodels are being bleached i threw out the sponges and im going to try bleaching the bio media but some of it seems to have deteriorated and not sure how it will fair in the bleach.
  3. So i pulled out my old cannister filter. Still full of water. Is it worth trying to rescue the bio media? Or should i just replace it?
  4. Thanks for the heads up, been quite a while so I have become forgetful. I'll just stick to some Apistos for now. Hate trying to pick fish because I them all.
  5. So finnally after 18 months or so of not being able to have tanks I am moving somewhere that allows me. Now the problem is what to do. So many choices. The only tank i current posses is a 24x20x20 (inch). Looking for some ideas to stock it with before I move on to a larger tank to accompany it. I would like to keep dwarfs or maybe salvinis but I was wondering what other options I have? Thank you for any response.
  6. first i have ever herd of white crane so thanks for the info

  12. remember this topic is regarding captive bred hybrids. honestly i believe without a doubt that there is surely some sorts of hybridization between species in the wild. But you have to think back to Darwinian fitness. There is a reason as to why most caught species of fish occur as a seen. This is because it is genetically favorable ie it ensures survival. This topic is so stretched out i forget if i have posted this before.
  13. Have this build up of black slime occuring in the filter. Its noticeable on the intake and outlet pipes and in the white filter pad. I have no idea and have not seen it before. It is a new tank but a new filter.
