  4. Just looking for advice i brought home a fish from the dam last week and have it in a quarantine tank atm. What if any, treatments, anti fungal/bacterial would be recommended before moving to tank with other fish?

  16. i have bought a lot of pumps over the years, my conclusion is, Most cheaper pumps are noisier than the more expensive brands Grundfos circulation pumps are silent and very reliable but expensive. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11212&p=60126&hilit=+grundfos#p60126
  17. While this method may be fast and effective, it would not be considered "humane" by many standards. Also many people become very attached to their pets and even in the situation where euthanasia is required, this option is far from acceptable to them. Try to understand a fish is a fish to some , but a pet to others.
  18. get some clove oil from a chemist put him in a bag with some water and add some clove oil i cant remember how much you need to kill a fish, someone will remember im sure???

  23. i have travelled to brisbane many times to buy fish Properly bagged with oxygen and placed in a styrofoam box, fish will travel well for many many hours i have had fish in bags for up to 20 hrs with no deaths -like already said, starve fish before transport -add stress coat to bag water -OXYGEN is a must -keep the bags in an esky or foam box, and in the dark
