  1. Im saying that 100% they are not Msobo however the msobo i breed were stockier than that and also seemed to be a deeper yellow.
  2. Im on the sunny coast I can come have a looksy if you like. Would also like to check out your other africans. The fish is definatly not a aceii of any varient. More and more starting to look like a johanni or some cross. On the up side the young red fin kandango in the pic looks like good quality They don't look like msobo either
  3. any chance you can give us a better pick "maybe side on" I don't want to say it but it does somewhat resemble a dirty johanni at present as you can sort of see the dark line starting to appead down his lateral line
  4. hmmm Im not sure what that one is also. I doubt it is a acei of any species if it started yellow and turns black or dark. How bright yellow were they ?
  5. thanks guys I really would like to find my old bloodline and continue on from that. I will contact savage roo

  8. Ok guys I have been out of the breeding game for a couple of years but im coming back One of the species i want to focus on line breeding to get good red colouration is the Flame Back Cichlid (Pundamilia Nyererei "if thats still its name") Im in the need to find a good bloodline to start off with (would prefer to find my last line if posssible) this thread is a area to show off your flame back (wether you are breeding or not does not matter)
  9. Typical aquarium industry When i was breeding species were having name changes all the time and it was sometimes difficult to keep up I must have taken my finger of the pulse because i missed it when Melanochromis Cyaneorhabdos became Pseudotropheus Cyaneorhabdos
