  1. sh%t . hope the lowlife prick gets what's coming to him! Hope the cops will get the wanker!
  2. Personally dont like hybrids... as long as the hybrids are labelled as hybrids and not sold as a purebred species it is fine IMO.
  3. rang ed... double thickness base and three top braces for a 5ftx18x18.... might get one and just sand the edges myself and do a leak test with silicon handy....
  4. does anyone have a phone number for a tank maker on the sunny coast or in caboolture/morayfield. (not ed......). thanks everyone!

  8. After about 1 week my newly aquired pair of red devils have laid a batch of what looks like 200+ eggs. Got these off frontosamad (keiron). The Red devil male is a brute but is pretty peaceful. The Girl has more aggression than him....haha It's a 3x2x2 with white sand and has a sump. ph 6.8. ammo 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20. The parents are defending the eggs well from the other fish in the tank. Heres some pics. sorry for dodgy pics.and theres tannins from wood in there and cbf getting windex on the outside of the glass.lol.

  10. Would be okay to grow a few up untill they pair off then sell the rest. so you have a adult pair .......
  11. Yeah a breeding pair or trio (spare m/f) would work awesome too. For aguaia orange heads anyway...... My young breeding girl is at around 15cm and male is a fair bit larger... but they would breed a bit smaller than that. Yeah if you cant have sand, small smooth gravel with no sharp edges would work too. The plecs wouldn't be a great idea if they're breeding as they could eat the eggs. they are great parents but a huge plec is armoured......
