  1. Hi all how's everyone going, I haven't been on for a while! I'm considering getting a ehiem 2260 however I could save some coin and more importantly get a better result with the resun and it's higher output... Anyone know if the resun have bypass issues with the trays not tight on the output or sides of the casing? I'd just prefer which ones going to give better mechanical filtration as my Americans are messy eaters.
  2. I tend to disagree with you there Bazz, simply because I needed 2 300W aqua ones to keep my temp up in the winter and just 1 ehiem Jäger will do the job now. It has a longer heating element in it and heats more water than other 300watt heaters.

  7. Coming from a truck driver, when people try to send furniture on a general freight carrier, most will say they would prefer not to take it, if it must be sent with them it is the senders responsibility to pack it properly and there will not be any responsibility for breakages. There insurance will be for lost freight in an accident, fire, etc. not the fact it was extremely fragile. You could always go for a furniture mover and pay 10x the freight.
  8. I just use a gravel syphon vac and put a barbed male tap end up the bottom of the vac line and plug the hose onto it and waters the lawn

  10. Yeah I was thinking that myself, I might have to save up for one. Will the chiller plug in at the filter box or do you run another pump

  17. That's a bugger, with all these hot days dropping the temp to quick will do it, I haven't had it since salting the tanks... Touch wood
  18. Sayyyy whaaattt'. Side on for low range, how the hell did they work that out. Brain hurts lol
  19. Ohh **** mate that's horrible, how hot were the tanks??? Mine got up to 33 but the big Americans couldn't be less phased, I keep those big air stones going full blast seems to do the trick, the ones the size of tennis balls. Anyway I'm sure your not the first and won't be the last to have disaster in this hobby, you just have to work out if you want to keep at it or be tankless. I hope you have a better run from now on anyway. Might be a good chance to try some different fish.
