  1. I would put the fish in as soon as the temp is right. 200L of used water and the filter will be fine. I have used 25% used water and filters a few times and have never had a problem.

  3. Thanks for all your helpful advice today and help with the harness for my American Bulldog, Tank. Big thanks to your partner for giving him a bath. Tank usually hates bath time but he was so relaxed today I think he nearly fell asleep.
  4. Thanks mate. I was thinking 8 x 2 x 2 but might have to settle for a 6'

  6. Awesome pics guys. Red Devils are still ones of my favourites. Hellboy has some good ones.
  7. Hey guys I moved last month and haven't had internet but now im back :-) Best part of moving is the missus agrees that one big tank will be better than all the smaller ones woohoo! Hopefully in the near future I'll be looking to either trade or buy a bigger tank then sell the others.
  8. My Saratoga wouldn't touch any pellets (massivore, carnisticks etc) so he lived on bloodworms for a while. A couple of weeks ago I bought some Aquamunch Colour Advance for my Africans and thought I may aswell chuck some in the toga's tank. He went nuts! Now at feed time he takes the pellets out of my hand before I can drop them.

  14. I have a 200w in a tank that size. People will say get bigger but it works fine for me. Water temp steady at 26deg (not on max) all through winter.

  18. Welcome mate. I had a small tank with cherry shrimp and Java fern with a sponge filter and it worked great. Sponge is great because it easily keeps smaller tanks clean without the risk of sucking up any shrimp.
