  1. Hey guys A few weeks ago I picked up some small samples of moss (or moss-like plants) from a creek that runs through the back of my parents place. They have been submerged for 3 weeks and seem to be going strong. Anyone got any ID ideas? Ive got some pictures but they ant the best as i don't own a macro lens The 4th and 5th photo are the same moss. It's really small in terms of its structure. Who else has used moss they have found? Cheers, Sophie

I know that this have been discussed before but just wander who is servicing this tank so that I can learn It is in Sunnybank shopping center next to commonweath bank perfect shape and size to me, just need to find a bigger house anyone know its spec, width length, lights and filter systems to educate us? 6. Hi Guys, What are your thoughts on the article below? I agree with some points, in particular the way goldfish are kept in bowls. But definitely think that keeping fish in tanks isn't cruel at all if the correct environment is set up for them. They have no predators are fed regulary, clean water and generally live a long life. Regardless most of the fish we keep (all of mine) have been bred for the purpose of the aquarium trade, they haven't been wild caught. Fish in Tanks? 7. Hi Guys, Unfortunately this poor guy didn't make it, found it on my parents property there were actually a few. They have a creek running through their backyard, which later became a river due to the intense rainfall friday. When the water levels dropped it left some fish behind. I only discovered them today. There was a small amount of blue shading on its gills, that doesn't photo. Below is the photo I apologize if the photo offends some. Cheers

  16. Someone dumped a 4ft tank with a cabinet out the front of their house along with a few bath tubs and a couch, So my mate and I went and grabbed it and started cleaning it today. It's 4x2x1.5. Painted the cabinet as it was peeling and gross. Yeah, talk about a good find haha. Messed my back up carrying it 500m down the road haha. I will grab some photos when I go back to my GF's house (where I left it). Any suggestions of what should go inside? Marto
  17. Over twenty years ago I had heaps of tanks and bred red-eyed, black angels. Several long-distance home moves tamed the fish collection, but I am now settled again and have set up a 3 ft community tank. The back of the tank is well planted, with hifin platties (3) and neon tetras (10). I am looking for some angels (black, silver) to complete the community. I have not been able to find quality angels in pet/fish stores, so turned to the internet and found this great forum. Now that I have introduced myself, I can begin the search for those elusive angels.

  24. Hey everyone if you want as many FREE Mulberry leaves as you want, I found a great tree just up the road from Exotic Fish Connections recently . Basically if you leave Exotic and turn left, go about 100 metres up Sherwood Rd,then turn left into Golf Links Rd drive to the end of the street and follow the rd round to the right into Cambridge street, drive about 100 metres and just on your left by the creek there is an enormous Mulberry tree, with nice big dark green, fresh healthy leaves, we picked the most delicious black Mulberries from it this spring and we have been feeding the leaves to my Daughter's silkworms. Check it out. cambridge st Rocklea, Queensland, Australia - Google Maps
  25. New Species of Fighting Fish Found in Thailand | Biology | Sci-News.com Well not quite. Just that B. sp. "Mahachai" has officially been described. Now I have to remember to add a ensis on to the end of the name every time I type it.
