  5. I've been trying to breed these two since the beginning of the year & after 4 failed attempts, I did truly believe one of them were to be the blame & was infertile. However, after a recent house move & therefore moving the tank into a different location that had more sunlight, the two buggers went at it again & I was able to collect another 200-300 eggs in the spawning mop. It seemed like the 5th attempt was another failure as all I could see were fungused eggs once again.... HOWEVER to my amazement I discovered 10 lucky little fry Moral of the story; persevere! Anyhow, I've been raising these guys for the past 5 days. Day 1, 2 & 3, they were kept in green water & on day 4, they were moved into a separate tank to be raised on baby brine shrimps The pair, a jade cap Red & white oranda female & black thai oranda The pic of the male was in full sunlight so looks bronzey but here's a vid taken yesterday to show the more truer darker black Day 4 Day 5 - you can see their orange bbs filled bellies BBS I don't have many fry to work with but still hopeful some quality stunners. 9 out of 10 have double tails which is a good start. Colour prediction for the fry? ... a possible mix of tricolor that will later on decolor to metallic red and whites, metallic red & whites, black or bronze. Will keep you guys updated
