  1. cant find the fine stuff any where , any ideas ?
  2. Howdy all Just wondering if anyone has used these products? I know that Matrix is supposed to be the best, but I have 4 sumps to fill and Matrix will cost lots and lots and lots. I have also been told that Aquaclay has more surface area than Matrix and the smaller stuff will last 5 years +. I can get 4L of Matrix for about $90 and 50L of Aquaclay for $220 so I'm thinkin of goin with the Aquaclay. Also I was told that I would need 50L+ of Aquaclay or Matrix for EVERY 3' sump. This sounds like overkill to me but I would love to get some advice from someone who isn't trying to sell me stuff. Cheers Jono
  3. Hi guys, My next project is going to be a fully planted tank, and I am told that aquaclay makes a great substrate for plants. Does anyone know the difference between the Aquaclay ground and Dupla ground? Is one more beneficial than the other, or do they both serve a similar purpose? Dupla appears to be much more expensive. Any help here would be great, the stuff is expensive so I would like some light shed before I buy! Thanks Ryan
  4. Hi guys, Just wondering if anybody out have used "Aquaclay" as a cannister filter medium? Bought a bag the other day as AOA (Ben) Recommended. Just want a 2nd opinion that's all. Thanks in advance. Regards, Ken
