  15. With work and my normal distaste for large crowds, it been years since I've been to the Ekka show and I have never been to the Caboolture show. So I've never seen a fish competition before at a show. This year I got a behind the scenes look on the last night of set up at the Caboolture show. All the last minute preparations, the work people had done over the previous couple of days setting up their display tanks and planted tanks. One thing that really surprised me was the small number of entries, in just about all categories. We have all seen some of the awesome photos people have put up of their fish here on the forum. I think many members here would have had a chance in the various categories, especially African Cichlids, American Cichlids, Catfish and possibly Rainbows & Sunfish. Of course members would have to find out about conditions of entry, but I am sure many members here, and their fish, would stand a good chance at the Caboolture Show.
