  9. How do i know if my tank is cycled I have a 1ft cube that i am planning to add 1 pepp BN and a colony of red cherry shrimp, It is currently planted with 4 endlers guppies and some snails to quicken the cycle My understanding of the cycle is ammonia and nitrite will rise and drop once they reach 0, and there is small readings of nitrate the cycle is complete, is this correct? I have added amtrite down (good bacteria and ammonia decrease) and bio super concentrate (lots of good bacteria) It's also been set up for 2 days now but i won't have a test kit for a few days, that means the tank will be running for 5 days without me being able to test, should i expect the rise and fall in ammonia and nitrite to already have happened? Thanks guys
  10. You will appreciate this one - how about pumping 2 meters deep - how about virtually inaudible and how sexy is this - see through double wall encasing with dampening to make it super quiet. Even if you are not after a new air pump just check this baby out - just another reason Aquael is a major quality brand rocking and shaking up the market. Aquael Oxypro 150 Air Pump - ultra quiet and supplies air up to 2m deep

  12. As always, AOA has the new stuff first and we do it weekly baby! Stand out this week? High output SUBMERSIBLE Tunze LED lights! Who cares if your tank is 3 foot deep and you want clams? Just put a bar a foot above it! Problem solved. Tunze may use logic, technology and quality to solve aquarium problems.......... And yea thats more boring than gimmicks and just clumping old tech together. But it works, and it works long time! Germans hey. They make beer, cars and fish products. And they do all of them so very well!!!!!!!!! disclaimer ~ AOA does not endorse the irresponsible mixing of beer, cars and fish products!
