  1. Hey guys i just noticed my dolphin swimming around on its side and what appears to be uncotrolled side rolls. All the other fish in the tank seem very happy. It doesnt seem like any visual features are out of the ordinary. Is my fish about to die or it just wants to be unique
  2. Hi, I'm setting up an African tank and I want to have 5-6 Blue dolphins as the centrepiece. I was wondering what other fish go well with them? My tank is a 6x2x2 foot and minus gravel and rocks will be around 530 litres. Any suggestions about stocking densities. Also does anyone keep plecos with their Africans? Thanks in advance, Nicola
  3. One of my dolphins looks an acts like it hold it's 1st batch of fry but I think there to young still plus I think it's a male. I'll try an get a pic to put up tonight. Just wondering if there is any other reason it might do this Cheers Preston

  8. Can get hold of a colony of f1 blue dolphins. Are this a better buy to start with and are the fry worth anymore than normal ones in the pet shop?
  9. hi all a couple of days ago i came home after work and noticed my dom male dolphin's eyes were extended, sort of "pop-eye". he's not behaving normal also just hugging the top of the tank and not feeding. my guess is he mayve injured his head (as sometimes the fish "freak out" when you walk past the tank, god knows why??). i have five dolphins, i think 4 males, 1 female, approx 13-15 cms. i can only assume its an infection from a gash but....the others have had gashes before. NOW i look at him closely, his membrane under his extended eyes seem to have been broken/busted and are very red. any advice as to treatment? i'd prefer not to lose him as they take ages to get to the size they are. i'll attach pics if i can. if they dont work and you think you may be able to help, i'll attach via email. they are hopeless pictures also but hopefully you'll get the idea. in the second pic, its the dolphin just above the maingano thanks all col
