  9. Hey everyone if you want as many FREE Mulberry leaves as you want, I found a great tree just up the road from Exotic Fish Connections recently . Basically if you leave Exotic and turn left, go about 100 metres up Sherwood Rd,then turn left into Golf Links Rd drive to the end of the street and follow the rd round to the right into Cambridge street, drive about 100 metres and just on your left by the creek there is an enormous Mulberry tree, with nice big dark green, fresh healthy leaves, we picked the most delicious black Mulberries from it this spring and we have been feeding the leaves to my Daughter's silkworms. Check it out. cambridge st Rocklea, Queensland, Australia - Google Maps
  10. hey all has anyone been to City Pet & Aquarium in blacktown NSW? just having a look on their site and seems like they have awesome fish!!! cheers jack
  11. Hey guys, Has anyone been to smiths or exotic fish at rocket lately? I'm heading down to the children's hospital on Monday for our 3mthly annual appointment, which means fish store run, does anyone know if they're stocking any festae, umbee, or JAG. My festae girl died last night so I'm looking to replenish the tank abit. I'll ring before but just want something to look forward to getting. I know its sad, but you don't get much fish variety up on the coast......
  12. Saw on the news that Rocklea fruit markets are well and truly under water and just thinking of efc and hoping that if they did go under they had a bit of notice if any one can confirm this and hoping all is well and safe in these floods

  18. just wondering if any one knows whats going on with these guys post flood and if they will be reopening and when ... sorry to see an aquarium looking the way it does..
  19. My Murray Cod died in the floods (no power for 6 days, stuck in house with no way to get to a shop or anything) I have an empty 5ft tank and I would love to get an Arowana one day. I was wondering if any of the more exotic Aro's (like red tailed golden etc) ever come up for sale in QLD? Ideally i'd like to buy as a juvenile. No matter what they are an amazing fish, I just find the jardinii and leichardtii (yes my spelling sucks..) a little lucklustre in comparison to their asian siblings.
  20. hey guys not sure if anyone knows but Exotic Fish Connections at Rocklea was completely destroyed in the recent floods If anyone knows them pass on my best as it must be absolutely devestating for them. Cheers, Scotty
