  1. Quite happy with the outcome!!
  2. Hi all, I just picked up an Aquapro A025 tank and stand setup tonight, It was missing a bulb but the other was working before I brought it home. I'm guessing the remaining fluro didnt enjoy the trip home. Anyways, I've removed the remaining and suspected dead tube. Measures 577mm (not including legs) Ebay shows no results with that measurement... can anyone steer me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance Tim
  3. So I went into Rexel today to pick up work stuff and saw they had waterproof 36W fluro fittings on special for $30, so after work I went straight back and picked one up. Wired it up using one of the hundreds of PC power plugs that are lying around at work and gave it a whirl on top of my 4 footer. Well, it basically worked perfectly for what I wanted so I built a light stand so it could hover just above the tank using bits of wood I had laying around. So basically if you need to light a 4 footer on the cheap, go to Rexel
  4. i need to buy 3 new fluro bulbs for my AR 850 i was wondering where would be the best place would be to buy them
  5. I'm setting up my six footer again and have thrown out the old tubes and can't remember what I had or if they were even suitable. The new setup will have a white sand substrate, driftwood, maybe 1 or 2 plants broader leaved ones and a mangrove jack. I prefer a whiteish natural sort of light without a yellow or purpley bias. Any tips and knowledge would be appreciated. Andy
  6. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows which shop has the best prices on aquarium fluro tubes? I'm chasing a 46cm 15W tube, best I've seen was $11 so far. Cheers, Pikey
