  1. Just noticed this moisture inside my heater. It's less than a year old, should I get it replaced? Is it a hazzard? It seems to be working fine, although I'm still not sure how to calibrate it properly.
  2. I have had a few of these Jagers over the years and never really had to calibrate or mess with them, but have just brought a new Jager and it is a pain in the bum. I think I might have tried to calibrate it too soon or something, I don't know.......I do not believe it is faulty. I followed the You Tube video on how to calibrate (moving red dial to the actual tank temp and then the blue dial to the desired temp by putting it to the red dial) but still I am fussing over this thing. I have it set on 25 but it is heating to 27.2. and clicks on around that time. I just cannot seem to get my head around the calibration thing !!! It is so frustrating. Any advice would be appreciated. I just wish I had never touched the thing to start with

All you have to do is buy one of the specially marked heaters as shown below. For more details and terms and conditions... https://mytlcrewards.com.au/premierpet

  7. I have two 300w Jager heaters I purchase just over a year ago from two different fish shop, I realise that both of my heaters have condensestation(dont think thats how you spell it). I went to one of the shop I purchase it from and they where more then happy to help me with the warrenty claim if i was to go ahead with it as they believe the heater is faulty. I gave my other LFS a call about the other Jager and their response (after talking to their rep) was it was ok to have a little bit of mositure in the heater and that I have nothing to worry about if the heater is working as design. I have google the problem and the results Ive found are mixed. Have you look at your heater lately? and is it normal?

  13. Been looking at aquarium heaters. The Jager 200W heater is claimed to be suitable for tanks 300 to 400L capacity Benefit 1? Jager claim that their technology is more efficient at transferring the heat to the water hence the lower power requirements Benefit 2? Higher quality, longer service life. Con? More expensive I hate buying cheap and nasty and twice Anyone use these and what are they like GS
