  1. I got some shells a few days ago from a guy named Greg Hayes. Amazing shells, great prices. They have a minimum order of $30 + $12 postage but they are great quality, promptly couriered & have an amazing selection even barnacles. Better than Bunnings as you can not only choose the type & colour of shells but from a range of sizes too! Check out the website, Coral Coast Shells Seashells , Seashell Crafts and Seashell Products. He's based in Macksville NSW. ***FORUM SPONSORS*** he wholesales to companies in Sydney, sure he might deal with you guys if you're interested. BTW yes I checked to see if it was ok to put up a thread for him. Here's some pics of the small selection I chose
  2. I have 5 of the buggers and no action. I have now split to 3 and 2. Also trying giving them some bigger shells. Maybe that is the problem. Any ideas appreciated. Steve
  3. Since there's absolutely no way that I can find to upload or embed video anymore (GREAT, really) I'll have to share links. I'm thinking the two sparring in the first two vids are actually females based on face shape, but I could be wrong: http://vimeo.com/17464347 http://vimeo.com/17464582 Here's the one I think is male, based on head and mouth shape, which is showing no aggression. http://vimeo.com/17464789 If I could get any help sexing them that'd be great. I think I'll have to observe them over the next week and try to work out who is who. The hope was getting a male and two females, if it looks like it's all wrong then I guess I'll be back to Smith's next week.
  4. Hi Fishy folks One of my caudopunctatus pairs has produced fry which have ventured out tonight. Question is do i catch them and transfer to my fry tank now or do i let them take their chances in the tank. Tankmates are Cyprochromis Leptosoma, Xenotilapia spilopterus and some juvie gold alto comps. They are so tiny Thanks DAVE
