  1. I got this 4 inch volitan to see how long it takes to grow back their facial horns. I see a ton of them small and large, being a very common fish around SEQ and it is basically finished and now a club member wants it, so it is swap time! You are not allowed to release aquarium life back into the ocean!!! I got a few nice pics the other day because it goes to its new home soon. I was trying to keep it food free for a good transit to its new home as in no ammonia in the bag for that time. Oh well, ammo lock as usual. We use to always s..t/poop them out for at least 4 days before transporting, so the water remains in good nick during transit so no pooping on the way, lol. This guts snuck under my hand while I was cleaning the filter wool in that tub and pinched one of my peppermint shrimp, now I have to get more because a part from using them for fish food, they keep any small animals down that may breed in there, pain in the butt fish, lol. Its now big belly, lol. Its best side, lol.
  2. Hey, Has anybody kept these before...??? Would love to hear about your experiences and where you got them. Looking forward to the discussion... Cheers A and k

  6. hey guys i recently purchased a saltwater tank and i set up everything back to how the guy i bought it off had it and even kept all the water. my lionfish has been fine ever since but jsut recently hes starting moving realy slow and kinda floating on his side and upside down does anywone know why he could be like this ??????? i checked the salinty and ph and ammonia and nitrate and nitrite and they all seem to be fine(mind you i am new to the whole saltwater thing). WOT COULD IT BE ???? the onlything different i did from when the other guy had the tank is put a big airpump going under the live rock cause the guy at my lfs told me to to give the live rock a boost seeing as it was a long trip in the back of my ute and some of the bacteria may have died. and it does kinda look like the air bubbles are sticking to the underside of my fish and its almost like he cant keep his balance, do these fish have problems with the swim bladders or anything? anyway any help will be greatly appreicated.
