  1. I have recently seen a co2 bottle of soda stream at Kmart and i was wondering what other things do I need for it to work and and what would the cost be?( they where '60 liter' bottles of somthin)
  2. I just bought a couple of 330gm soda stream gas bottles to start with co2 as I didnt want to buy a big bottle with are around $150sh so im using the soda stream bottles as they are small and ezy to get and will last about 2-4 months depending on how many BPS it uses
  3. Hi, In the tank that I've been trying to fishlessly cycle, I noticed that the pH has dropped to around 7.8 (probably due to prolonged Ammonium chloride application - maybe this is why the biofilter mysteriously crashed?). I know that for freshwater, Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is commonly used to adjust pH: can I use this in a marine tank too, or will it stuff around with the composition of the ASW? If so, how do I bump the pH back up? Cheers, h_tully
  4. read this on another web site, what will it do ?
  5. Been using liquid carbon on my planted tank with no real results. Was thinking about getting a sodastream co2 cylinder and regulator with the usual co2 bells and counters and running this. Was wondering if anyone has tried this before. Reason is can't really afford proper co2 set up.
