  4. Hey guys a am wanting to sell my turtle as he is not being looked after very well and he deserves a better home. My question is when you sell a reptile do you have to transfer the details onto the buyers licence. We bought the little fella at the start of the year in South Australia which you do not require a licence for and we drove back to queensland with him. We have had a reptile licence for over a couple of years and just renewed it. when we bought the turtle in SA it came with no information i dont even know what type of turtle it is (looks like a murray turlte however). all i want to know is do i need to put it on our licence to be able to give the buyer the details of the turtle?
  5. Hi All, So, Family members of mine have some fighters - they keep the fish in tiny square boxes that hold less that 1L of water. The fish live in terrible conditions. Hardly ever get water changes, over or under fed, no heater (physically impossible), no filter - you get the drift. I am pet sitting for them at the moment, upon my first visit I noticed miserable fish with about an inch or so of filthy water, one was full of green slime/algae so no clear area to swim. I am at a loss as to what to do. I left them for the first night but I have since cleaned their tanks and given them fresh water. This is not the first time they have been in this state and it is not the first time I have cleaned the tanks. I don't have time to clean them every week and I shouldn't have to. I have tried sarcasm, passing on information about adequate conditions for these fish, telling them that it is mistreatment, etc. Any suggestions? They have another nano tank with 8 neons, 1 danio and a peppermint bn - pretty much the same shocking conditions except they have a tank full to swim in. (they have had fish of some description for years so you would think they would know better) Help....
