  1. Hi guys,Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of sourcing some thin (approx 1mm) acrylic roll. I want use it to divide substrate as seen in this thread:FS: Clear plastic Substrate dividers and substrate supports custom made bunnings used to carry it but no longer do. I have called the bunnings/masters in my area with no luck thus far. I have also called a few acrylic/plastics companies in brisbane but they only seem to carry 3mm and upwards.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Beau.
  2. Hi all, Today I picked up my skimmer for the tank I am converting to marine. Unfortunately with the 6mm foam under the sump we can not get the cup out because of the height of the cabinet. We have worked out if we don't have the foam under it we are about to get the cup out with a mm or 2 to spare. I was just wondering if anyone has successfully used a material that is only 1mm or so think and where you got it from. Thanks, Regards, Ryan
  3. Thought I'd share some pics of the new arrival, picked it up today
  4. Just wondering if anyone can throw me some tips to keeping thin val alive. It's just planted in plan old pea gravel so that's probably my first problem it's about 3" deep, but i've got 2 21w white tubes and 1 21w blue tube, on 4 hrs off 1 on 4 hrs. I add seachem flourish weekly and basically do nothing else. I'm guessing either a planted substrate or root ferts would help things along a lot?
