What live stock? This affects which method is more suitable...

1. Fast way couriers

I use them to shrimp and some fish as well but they are relatively slow. They pick it up from your door (you pack it before they come) and drop it off at the buyers door. $15-30 per standard brocoli box on the east coast approx.

2. Aus post

They don't want people sending water as often bags or bottle leak and other packages are damaged. Especially if it goes by air, as they pressure is much lower at 40000ft so the air inside the bag expands (unless you use breather bags which don't have air in them). How ever, they are pretty cheap and fast depending on the location you are at and where they are going. They are only good for very small fish or shrimp as the largest express post bag is up to 5kg. You can't fit a standard sized brocoli box in the bag.

3. Quantas freight

You drop it at your nearest air port and they take it to the air port closest to the buyer. Same day, the quickest option so the best for exotics or LARGE fish. $150-200 approx on the east coast.

And here is a post on how to box fish for shipping:

No worries. People may be able to help more if you say what type of live stock you are wanting to send.
