greenthumb84
.Hey guys, I'm setting up my living room tank again which will be housing either Trimac or Oscars and am wanting advice on filters. Tank is 450 Ltr. I was thinking a decent canister such as a ehiem or Fluval but they seem very expensive to do a tank this size. filters seem to do a jump from ones suited to 200 Ltr then ones like the fx6 for tanks up to 1500 Ltr. Ideas?
ado_84
the otto's are not bad.. can be hard to reseal but your only cleaning them manybe twice a year. run and internal powerhead as well. the 8foota in my avitar run 2 cheap canisters and an otto internal, it have about 30 fish and the water stays clear as. greenthumb84
ok, sounds good! when it was going before I was running a Resun 2800 Ltr canister + UV but had problems with leaky gaskets all the time. might look into the ottos though. or a smaller canister with a power head too. thanx
