Timjc Posted December 28, 2014 Report Share Posted December 28, 2014 I've used second hand tanks a fair bit in the past I even have one that was my uncles when he was a kid so 40 years old or so and have never had an issue. I just always visually check all the joints and look for any possable weak spots. If it looks a bit off nothing a quick re seal can't fix. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You have to take all the old seal away before placing more in hey? I was just going to get as much away as I can, just on the outside corner, and reseal it and put a plastic bar over it. Sounds good? Anthony123 Posted December 28, 2014 Report Share Posted December 28, 2014 If the glass isn't quite flush it will be ok if your using foam underneath as it will even out pressure, just make sure there isn't any cracks or starts in any of the panels prior to filling and all should go fine, test full outside and leave a day or two if worried Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
