The Tech Den
After a bit of wait - We now have stock of the Marinepure 2 inch Cubes. Marinepure Rock is currently an exclusive product at The Tech Den so if you want some there is just one place to get it and have it at an introductory price. As an estimate MarinePure Small ROCK is more effective than 4.5kg of live rock and Medium ROCK would compare to over 11kg of live rock once it is established and you do not have to worry about any unwanted hitch hikers like live rock. The 2 inch cubes are available in packs of six and to give a comparison between 1 litre of spheres vs 6 X 2 inch cubes - I have taken a couple of pics. As normal - member discount of 10% off applies to these and everything that we have for that matter. Here is a link to the Marinepure Shperes, Cubes, Blocks and Rocks for all the pricing and availability MarinePure by Cermedia, Shpere, Cubes, Rock and Blocks

The Tech Den
Almost cant believe the price... Great work! Thanks Tristan, this took a lot of work in the background and months of preparation and because we have a really good relationship with the Australian Authorised Distributor for Marinepure (AquaPremium), we were able to work with them and make it happen and getting it to Australia with the Cubes (we have had samples for months and been playing and testing them in different ways) and with the Rock we put our money where our mouths are pre-ordering and confirming our order of the entire amount that landed in Australia. We have more rock being sent to us there just was not enough room to fit everything on our latest order. The good news is there is still more to come... The cubes are really easy to cut as well and will also make a perfect base for attaching mosses in a planted tank.
litigator666
which one is better a pack of spheres (22) vs a pack of cubes (6) with regard to: 1. Volume 2. Surface Area
The Tech Den
I am expecting the cubes to win out on that as there are less gaps so more surface area in a smaller footprint. 2-inch cubes specifically designed for the high flow of koi and goldfish ponds and recirculating aquaculture systems. One cubic foot (approx 128 cubes) is good for 5,678 to 7,570 liters of water.

GrandLocomon
How big are the rocks? Does each rock look different? I'm assuming I can use the rock in freshwater, is this correct?
The Tech Den
Each rock does look a little different - they do come out of a mould taken from rocks to get different shapes. Can give you a rough size as they are different shapes and this is just one of each I pulled off the shelf to give you an idea. Medium 14x17x12cm Small 13x12x10. Be ideal for either fresh or marine. Attach mosses to it if you wanted.
