Bassman
The bolbitis I have purchased dropped all of its leaves and now the stems are going brown. I know the water temperature in my tank was higher than the colder water came from. Is this the reason why it has dropped all of its leaves? Both tanks have low light on them. Any info would be appreciated.
The Tech Den
I have seen the same thing happen. Do not give up on it - if you can get the water temp down I would not be surprised if it makes a come back and probably better and more dense. Donny@ageofaquariums
Could be. Pictures would help as it might just be transitioning from emmerse to submerse growth forms
Bassman
Thanks for the help. I have dropped the temp and will see how it goes. The piece is about 50cm and was quite dense but now there is not one leaf/frond!
The Tech Den
The one I had was good to start with then it got hotter and dwindled to nothing and I just about gave up on it then it cooled again and came back really thick then the heat hit it again and it went back to not a spot of green. Does take a little while for it to come back but do not give up on it.
