FREDDY FISHEAD Posted February 17, 2015 Report Share Posted February 17, 2015 Hey guys so I got a pair convict cichlids in a 3 foot tank and it's good for them just wonder why my convict cichlid is so shy. um I have only seen him eat flake food once and he is a bigish fish. Anyone else had a shy convict cichlid, usually they are bolsters and eat anything. So I had some fish I did not really want and put them in there as dither fish. got them out of their hiding.even though they are a aggressive they still can get shy on their own at times.I put in some hardy heads blue eyes one hokey stick a black molly and that was enough.
