saczel Posted February 21, 2015 Report Share Posted February 21, 2015 The slime coating inside the hoses slows mine down sometimes. I have a Eheim hose cleaning kit with small bristle bushes that you drag through hoses and increases the flow quite a bit. Even though they look clean to begin with it definitely helps also the magnets on the impellor can come loose so a clean up and silicon them back on again can pick up the flow rate.
