Aquachemist
I want to buy 1 cleaner shrimp, 5 trochus snails and 1 fighting conch snail. Who can help me out. My 3 local pet stores do not have any CUC at all. And a sand sifting starfish if anyone has one. What online stores have this stuff? brodie7744
Ok well. I'm not trying to tell you how to do it but, if it was me I'd get what I can now, instead of adding everything at once because it still is a new tank. One think to remember that it's a marine tank and it takes patience. It doesn't matter if a its a clean up crew or not. Start with hermits and sand stars or snails such as Strombs or turbo. Then your shrimps ones your tank is a bit more established. I say this because most if not all shrimps won't really adapt well If the water quality is still not right. Plus it gives enough time for things to grow in the tank. You don't want to spend money on a shrimp, chuck it in and then have it starve to death do you ? ( all this is just my opinion ). Aquachemist
Ritio Yeah its only 2 weeks since the live rock went it. Algae has started to build thats all. The picasso Triggerfish was a hutch hiker hiding in the live rock and the anenome would not come off so the guy just jeft it on for me Freshwater Nano 30L Freshwater 140L Red Sea Max 250L
brodie7744
Fair enough, head I'd start with hermits. They love algae on the rocks. Also if there's algae present that usually means there is some feeding it. Suck as nitrate or phosphate. But withthe fish in there already it is possible. african-cichlids
I don't no if I read correctly but the trigger was a hitchhiker in the rock that's a one in a million good score dude! And don't feel bad if you get algae because I had a pretty bad algae bloom buts it's under control now. My tanks been going for 2 n half months now and iv only got a couple of snails for now. Another aquarium shop in Brisbane that's good with plenty of stock is clayfield aquariums
Aquachemist
Yeah he hooked his fins inside that big rock. There is a hole in the top down to a little cave that she hid in during transport. Took her 10 mins then she came flying out wanting food. dhe Hasn't stopped eating the guts lol Freshwater Nano 30L Freshwater 140L Red Sea Max 250L
