goodwin626
Hi all Moving next week and hoping to borrow a water barrel to move the tank water and reuse as much as possible, have thought about buying one but can't find one I know is 100% safe and is probably never use it again. pk333
Hi goodwin626. The tank water really isn't necessary. I moved last year, and we did it over 2 days. The first thing I did on the first day was set up my barrel at the new place and put water in it to age. The important thing is to keep the filters running as that is where the vast majority of beneficial bacteria live. The last thing I did was move the tanks, filters and stands. aquaholic99
If you can't find a barrel to borrow, buy a used one and then resell it if you find its not useful after the move. If you don't want to buy a barrel then use your wheelie bin & plastic liner for a temp container.
