How to use Resun CL-280 Chiller

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

i just bought a second hand Resun CL-280 chiller and there was no manual for it. I have tried to find one on google but no luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for one or let me know how to adjust temps and switching on temps etc.

I have had a play with it but I don't understand what each function does it has F1, F2, F3 and F4 with parameters that you can adjust.

It would also be good if someone could let me know on what each setting is suppose to be on.

Thanks

Hi mate,

I am not aware of any F1, F2, F3, etc functions on a Resun chiller. It should be pretty straight forward in terms of setting the desired temperature.

When you switch on the chiller, the display will show the current water temperature. Press the 'Set' button, then press 'Up' or 'Down' arrow button to select the desired temperature, then press 'Set' button again to set it.

For Resun chillers, it 'kicks in' only after it hits 2 degrees above the set temperature and there will be a delay before it 'kicks in'.

E.g. You have set 25 degrees as the desired temperature. When the current water temperature rises to 27 degrees, there should be a beep sound and after a delay, the chiller then 'kicks in' and the fan starts to run. You will hear a distinct whirling noise that tells you the chiller fan is running. Once the water temperature cools to 25 degrees, the chiller cuts out and the fan stops.

Hope this helps.
