wadedidit
Yup, that's what I would have thought but I had a new Fluval which had dramas, the store refused to take it back but I contacted Fluval and they replaced it, was just going to pass on this advice if it was new... th3f0rg0t3n
I've found removing the motor / impellor and giving a general clean and lubrication then re starting them helps, if the rattling occurs ive left them run for 24hrs and they seem to come good, Quality items they are, an expensive bucket with a motor on the bottom to collect all the debris
Donny@ageofaquariums
Or is it, an expensive motor with a bucket to collect all the debris? Definitely agree on the clean motor/impellor as the first step on any canister noise problem. Would also add in to clean the hard plastic straw on underside of the lid, you dont want that blocked up as causes all sorts of weird possesed crazy symptoms. kikrman
Will have a look at that Donny. I doubt it's a major issue as it was running when I picked it up. Would rather just get my money back someone else can play around with it.

Ever since I replaced the crushed coral with fine black gravel the tank always seems a little cloudy. I'm very tempted to try this for the price.
