FREDDY FISHEAD
Ok if I go ahead and make a sump pvc overflow into a three foot sump has anyone tried using the return pump as a canister filter. So just connect the inflow to the three foot sump as normally connected to the main tank, and the outflow to the main tank?
unheatedtank
I am using an ehiem 2217 to return water from my 2ft cube to the top 6ft, no drama at all for a year already The 6 ft overflow to a sock then to 2ft cube To add flow, a 3watt wave maker is used in my 6ft If you need photo for proof just ask
unheatedtank
Ehiem on the lower right, in from 2ft cube, out via 3m long to the top left. The overflow is on the top right down to bottom right. So i am only using minimum electricity lol
FREDDY FISHEAD
that's cool, I noticed you didn't worry about lots of filtration media, why did you use the cube for extra flow?
