FREDDY FISHEAD
over stocked? recently I bought a standard 4 foot tank, inside was too huge Oscars and pleco. the tank was filthy, I don't think it was gravel vacuumed and the filter was useless. some people say I can fit more fish in my tank. I think the knowledge that eventually comes concerning stocking requirements is secondary to seeing a healthy fish grow and display close to natural behaviour. also I think it's all about mans relationship with animals in general. Do you hit your dog, throw the cat.

Donny@ageofaquariums
Thing is that those are all typically agro fish..... towards fish that look like them! So having them all so different works in its favor. This would be more true if the shark was red tail and the loach a yo yo..... Those brazils sure can trick ya tho with their rapid growth. Remove the brazil, replace with a bolivian butterfly and swap out the zebra for a gourami and you would have a tank that would work with weekly water changes. Thats my stocking limit...... really dont want to do more than weekly water changes.
