4ft Tank Re-scape

Recommended Posts

So after a visit to age of aquariums yesterday we've finally been able to re-scape our cichlid tank! Thanks to the boys for letting us spend an hour or more with your Texas Holey rock trying out different combinations, tank still needs a vinyl background but not sure what colour to go for yet. Currently stocked with 6 fish all juvies ATM ranging from 5-8cm they include 2x Hongi, 2x Red Zebra's and 2x Cobolt Blues.

Added some more fish can't wait for them to grow and colour up, going for a pretty minimalist style scape as the tank is all about the fish and their colour popping, mostly stocked with peacocks but have a couple of other species as well stocking list as follows:

Eureka red peacock

Rubin red peacock

Baenschi peacock

Dragons blood peacock

OB peacock

Blue dolphin

Cobalt blue

Red zebra

Hongi

Electric yellow

All fish are between 5-10cm and starting to show some nice colour already

Thanks Orangemelly, picked him up at the LFS but apparently they originally came from a local breeder quite impressed with his colouring actually as he is one of the smallest in the tank at around 5-6cm
