mbunamad
What do you like feeding them? "What do you like feeding them?" What do our fish like? should be the question @littlebitfishynonresearcher Another vague question! But I like the simplicity of your questions. I am not sure of your aim? KISS?? ORANGEMELLY
My mbuna have most days spirulina flake. Every few days they have NLS, algae wafers and peas. My goldfish (and the silver dollars that are in with them at present) get goldfish sticks, leaves off green veg, peas and spirulina as well. My south americans get spirulina flake, hikari pellets and hikari food sticks, peas, garden worms, blood worms and brine shrimp. My tropical tank: angelfish, betta, corydoras and assorted tetras get algae wafers, tropical flake and blood worms.
grubby
At the moment I keep mostly Rainbow fish, peppermints, yoyo loaches and a few Cryptoheros Sajica. I have a daphnia/cyclops/copepod culture up and running and my fish get feed that. What they don't eat, survives to reproduce in the tank. You can't beat live food. Other than that they are normally get blood worms frozen and the places get their usual veggies. The Rainbows also scoff the duck weed that grows on the top of the tank. My ponds get the same plus what ever mosquito larvae turn up. Edited August 20, 2015 by grubby

gingerbeer
My biggest secret to feeding, is when you feed watch your fish. When you do this the following happen. The fish associate you with food. Remember pavlov's dogs and the bell and then feed. same idea. it is the best way to get your fish to display as soon as anyone comes near the tank. You get to check the fish. I always count the fish when feeding, and look for any issues. If anyone is not eating I either have really good news, or really bad news. Either way it is good to know these things. I get o enjoy my fish. the hobby is still meant to be fun, so next time you feed make sure you slow down and enjoy your fish. Netto14
My marines enjoy pellets and flakes in the morning with Artemis brine shrimp for dinner. My Cray and goodies get flakes and pellets with a zucchini end or potato thrown in. My tropical enjoy flakes, pellets and zucchini. My guppy and bristlenose tank enjoy flakes, algae pellets, zucchini...but tonight I mixed it up a bit and added a mushroom. They loved it, I doubt that there will be any left in the morning. danfishy84
My adults get pellets pellets and more pellets. I prefer sinking pellets otherwise my overflows have been known to eat as much as my fish, and it makes it easy to scan the tank for uneaten food. I don't give treats live or frozen any more as fish may start getting uppity over the taste of healthy and nutritious pellets to their preferred live/frozen and then try to play mind games with me to see if I break first! But yes, watch them when feeding as Ginger said, It is a perfect time to inspect the health and happiness of your fish.
Obeice
I feed my mbuna and fronnies NLS Thera A pellets and Tropical Spirulina flake, but i am now toying with Tropical Malawi chips and Tanganyika chips instead of Thera A, they seem to be liking it so far.
