TheAquaHolic001
Depends how big the fish are, how much room they want so on. But I'd say about 10 fish so long as their smallish.
TheAquaHolic001
Also 10 would be good cause they can sort out ranks and stuff so it lowers out aggression. But 10 max.

Heintz.G
3x1.5x1.5 jut an internal filter IF500 IMO forget the internal and get a canister filter, then you could look at a species only tank a colony of about 10 electric yellows would be my choice, some decent rock work and lots of hidey holes, voilà instant African tank. Donny@ageofaquariums
Bio filtration is best filtration. Combo with an internal air powered sponge filter.... then you can add 50 fish. Of course you will then have to water change more than once a week and they will suffocate in under an hour if theres a black out.... but hey, moar is better amirite g?! As above, actual details = actual answer. I'd post up what you want to try do, and then optimize your plan based on the feedback you receive. pony-tail
I have 50 fish in a 30 inch tank with just a 2213 eheim - they are mostly neon tetras . The point is to match you bio filtration to your bio load ! Lots of big fish in a big tank needs big filtration . a few small fish in the same large tank would need very little . many large fish in small tank - catastrophe waiting to happen .no matter what filter you use . there are limits to what filtration can do . That's where water changes and responsible balanced stocking comes in .
