Kazbop Posted September 23, 2015 Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 I woke up this morning to my eight year old salmon tail catfish with a pictus catfish in his mouth. He's obviously killed him and is now trying to eat him and the whole thing is in it's mouth with just the tail hanging out. The pictus was quite big so I'm just scared that it's now stuck. The salmon tail is swimming about normally but he thrashes around every now and then. Could he choke on it and could it be way to big for him to digest? Here's a few pics. I tried to remove the pictus myself, but it's spines were stuck in the salmons mouth. I ended up taking him to my local aquarium and they used curved scissors to remove the spines and fish.
