itshardtofindava
I have some Fronts and Comps in my tank and my comps are awesome and active but fronts being fronts super shy so a lot of my tank space is very unused from them being bottom dwellers. Is there a tang that prefers the top layer of the Tank that won't upset my community?

thatsright99
Frotosa aren't shy and shouldn't be on the bottom... if they are hugging the bottom, there's something wrong. They are also predators so be care what you put in with them. Anything that can fit in their mouth, weather they can actually eat it or not, has a good chance of being gobbled. You definitely don't want surface dwelling fish.
itshardtofindava
They don't hug the bottom as such just don't lik going past mid way point of tank so there's just a lot of tank space. I guess it doesn't help they're babies.
gingerbeer
The problem with any fish taking the upper section, is they tend to be food for the frontosa.
Rod
Adult Tanganyikan killifish are 150mm (6inches) long when adult....and as fast as rainbows Don't believe they would be Frontosa food if they were introduced to tank at a similar size to juvenile Frontosa Have a look on YouTube plenty of videos of Frontosa with Julies/brevis/cryptochromis

itshardtofindava
Shon you are spot on but I love them and they're beautiful. I used to have trophs and they were always energetic and I got to hand feed them. I was just hoping there was a fish that was like a toga but a tang lol😊
itshardtofindava
I've come to realise fronts are like the cats of the fish world. Don't want to see you and only want to see you for food
wadedidit
I must be lucky though, my Fronts are always happy to see me! I have seven and think three are male, so they are always active and happy.
