mitch-91
I picked up a brand new aqua one cannister filter around 3 days ago last night when i opened up the cabneit i noticed water around the filter i soaked it up and this morning there was more. Upon inspection i noticed a small crack down the bottom of the canister. My question is what should i do? Water loss is minimal but i have a feeling jt will only get worse. Sacrilicious
Take it back right away - they should be able to swap it for a non broken one.

mbunamad
Cheers will do. Just a pain in the ass you buy somthing and get it home set it all up to find out a day later its broken :@ Oh well at least you are fortunate you bought it at a bricks and mortar shop and can return it in person. If you had bought it online imagine the possible hassles getting it replaced quickly. Long live the LFS!
mitch-91
Shop is closed today so looks like ill take it tomorrow. As for buying online man that would be stressful not to mention hasstle of posting it back.

litigator666
Soonest you report it to them the better so they can't argue it's your fault. Write down the dates - when you ordered it, arrived, installed, noticed the leak/crack, date you called them to report.
Umbee fan
Lfs are fairly good when it comes to returns, different if you want your money back but you just want a exchange so should b sweet.
