goodwin626
Hi all Needing to know ASAP, but after viewing a 6x 24x 30 tank this afternoon, before committing to the buy, I want to make sure the current stainless? corner bracing/trim can be removed for a cleaner finish? Have read that plastic ones are just for aesthetics but being wider stainless, is this structural? The setup is cheap so pretty happy with it but want to make sure first See pic Thanks Jacob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited October 20, 2015 by goodwin626
Wogboy
Doubt it would be structural, be the same as peelastic
goodwin626
Thanks, yeah I'm thinking so, just don't want to experience it letting go if I'm wrong. I am hoping a tank builder or the likes will confirm Thanks Jacob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thatsright99
They aren't structural art all. Only to hide the joins and if the builder is lazy and doesn't smooth the CNRS... so you don't cut yourself. Get a new razor blade and trim the old silicone off then use new stuff and whichever trim you want. The cheap clear, aquarium silicone will be fine for it.
