Cheyenne
I might be getting a 60 cm (width) by 81 cm (height) by 60 cm (length) tank. I already own one bristlenose catfish, some sword-tails and one kuhli loach (going to get more very soon). So the new fish have to be compatible with the ones i already have. I would like fish that are easy to care for and cheapish. Thx!!! Edited November 3, 2015 by Cheyenne Wrong sizes
BOLT
Neon tetras and guppies both are a cheap easy fish to care for but also come in a range of colour ways especially the guppies. Hope this helps and good luck.
none
Many people would not consider Neons an easy fish - all the requests for help in the disease section reflects otherwise - and they are not a good mix for Swordtails.
Heintz.G
In the mix you already have you could some Platys there are some nice varieties around.

I never knew neons would be not be considered an easy fish, it's just that I had a good experience with them but I guess that's because I haven't been delt a bad hand with them. Netto14
Neons tend to nip fins and tails. I'd suggest guppies, but male swordtails could pester female guppies to death. What about a dwarf gourami?
Cheyenne
I guess a dwarf gourami might work.... But wouldn't it eat the swordtail fry?
Netto14
Given half the chance even swordtails will eat their own fry. The best way to avoid this is to get a fish fry net box to keep fry in until they are too big to fit in another fish's mouth. Or add lots of long weed like elodea for the fry to hide in.
