Please don't take this the wrong way but I don't think they look like weeping moss. The fronds (even the really long ones) are all not 'weeping' as what a true weeping moss should look like, especially with such healthy growth. Perhaps some moss expert could ID and verify?

The weeping moss in my tank all 'weeps' and overhang and they don't look like what you have in the photos. Perhaps you bought them as weeping moss but was sold something else instead?

Sorry I am not trying to disrupt your for sale ad but thought I should point it out to prevent incorrect moss ID getting sold on for something they are not.

Some other moss experts please provide advice. I would like to learn too if I am wrong. Thanks.

Grubs bluebelle maybe you could advise? You're pretty knowledgable. :-)

Admin please delete if I have crossed any line and infringed any forum rule. Sorry.

There was an ad by Betta on 9.8.15 "weeping moss tree FS". Looks like the same species.

I think it might be possible for mosses to grow differently depending on growing conditions.

I'm not expert enough to make a definite identification, sorry.....

I find they either grow denser or more stringy under different light conditions but they will always 'weep' downwards nonetheless. I have never grown them with CO2 so I cannot say for certain if it has any effect on their growth characteristics.

I'm thinking either peacock, Taiwan or Singapore moss.

Whatever it is it looks really nice and healthy. Probably try post it on AL forum. There are more plant nuts there.

Not peacock either. The leaves are much more coarse and larger than peacock moss. I just use 11w led light over 2 ft tank. The light is much brighter than 24w t5 HO which i had before but i would still consider it a low/mid lighting

yes it looks exactly same as what u have pictured, well at least i know what i have now, still $15 a portion

Looks like Christmas moss (Vesicularia montagnei) possibly, but only if the fronds look like this. Recently bought some anchor moss and turned out to be Christmas. 1469c191e1922fb334d7c960fb83e43b.jpg230ac1a16bfbc59070bb494c4d34ba0c.jpg
