Who has bred and RAISED Oscars? Please pm me. I've gotten my fry to 14 days before losing them to a fry saver malfunction. Would still love a good chat with fellow Oscar enthusiasts!! smicko Posted November 3, 2015 Report Share Posted November 3, 2015 It's good to feed continuously, have a brine shrimp hatchery drip feeding the tank and once big enough for fry crumble feed 4 times a day. As they get up to 1cm and larger split the fry over as many tanks as possible to avoid them eating each other. If you don't have a few 4ft tanks plumbed together be prepared to lose a fair few. I only grew one spawn before passing my pair along to someone who knew more but even spread over 3 4ft tanks I only got around 100 to survive, they never stop eating lol.
