1t0nyt
Hi, I was just wondering what filter I should get for my 250 litre tank. I came around two models: Aqua One Nautilus 1100 or the Aqua One Advance 1050 canister filter. From what I heard the Nautilus is older model and harder to prime than the Advance model. Has anyone found any problems with any of these and which one should i avoid getting. I would like one that last minimum 4 years without a problem. Nautilus = $130 -$150 and 2 year warranty +1 year guarantee. Advance =$180-$200 and 4 year Guarantee Strictly my budget for the filter is $160. Is the nautilus preferred over Advance or is Advance a better choice for value? Lastly I am a semi-newbie to aquarium so any advice will do. pauljones82
Have u ever tried or thought of fluval fx series. They tend to be easy to prime, optional 12mm or 16mm hoses. Fluval are tall and deep lots more room for media and more stages of filtration so less time cleaning your tank cleaner. Plus no need for over flow though not always nessecery in most cases. They go hard for longer. Aqua one on the otherhand has become a cheap nasty brand smashed by chain stores so example a fluval fx6 will do a 1000 L tank...but pricey. In your case i say 250 L tank u would need a fx5. Not warrioring here just giving a few options for you.

Sent from my I216X using Tapatalk Sent from my I216X using Tapatalk
