hi all..ive just aquired 2 15cm blueyed ciclid boys..into my 5 foot tank..they seem hard to feed..

they have been in there since last sunday..they r not being bullied..everything else in the tank is way smaller than them

they have safe areas to go to..im feeding hakari sinking pellets plus flake

my tank is malawi- american mix..any positve comments will be much appreicated ty in advance

What water parameters? If the Malawi's do well, there's a high chance the water is very wrong for the blue eyes. Also Malawi's are annoying, there's a lot more to bullying than just a big fish picking on a smaller fish. My solution would be to separate the Americans from the Africans.

re blue eyed cichlid boys..i noticed one boy was being chased by the other..thought enough was enough..have now moved one out into my 4 foot community tank..see how he goes in there..at least ive tried something ...lol...

..hi guys..thats a no to rod..and the fish i have in my community tank are as follows..3 pakistani loaches 1 large angel 1 congo tetra and 5 other tetras..(forget the species) plus 5 maller catties ty

ill do my best to remove them to another tank..ill take the harsh with the positve..its the only way to learn..merry christmas

Ive been there dude. Tried to keep Buenos aires tetras with Blue eyes, killed them one by one. Also they hassled a Clown Loach to the point of death too.
